Supporting Achievement In Education
The TBM Foundation's objective is to support young people to succeed within public schools as well as in higher education. When given a sense of hope and purpose, young people have the ability and the desire to excel. Young people need to be engaged in the educational process through academics, sports, fitness and school activities in order to fully experience the wonder of learning. The Foundation values excellence and knowledge for all people and works to create a community where all people have access to the tools and support they need to pursue and enjoy learning.
The TBM Foundation wants to encourage innovation and system change within public schools. When working to change large, complex systems, the Foundation places an emphasis on innovation and creativity balanced with good sense. Work which can be, and has been proven to be, economically scalable and replicable in other schools is of particular interest to the Foundation. Individual schools are funded with the goal of creating larger systemic change.
